The 12 Zodiac Signs

The zodiac is a belt of sky divided into 12 equal segments of 30° each, totaling 360°. Each segment is a zodiac "sign," named after a constellation that historically occupied that space. The Sun appears to travel through all 12 signs over the course of one year (roughly one sign per month).
