• Won Sahitya Akademi Award for Leeltans.

Vijaydan Detha ('Bijji')

• Famous for folk-based stories. Work: Batan ri Phulwari (14 volumes).
• His story 'Duvidha' was adapted into the movie Paheli.
• First Rajasthani writer to receive the Sahitya Akademi Award.

Laxmi Kumari Chundawat

• Preservation of oral traditions. Works: Mumhal, Gajmataan, Munjal Ro Mera.

Chandra Singh Birkaali

• Master of nature poetry. Works: Badli (First modern poetic work), Lu, Sanjh.
